An instant hit, this gateway made of our chicken electric netting allows you access into the poultry pen without affecting the main electric poultry net enclosure. Lifting out the end post is the most common way to go into a chicken pen but doing that will cause the whole 50m net to sag slightly or become less taught over time and so this short length of electrified fence is perfect. Just have it at the end of your main netting run and use this length to get in and out of your chickens.

It is 1.3m in length and 110cm high and made from the exact same electric net as our Flexinet Green Poultry Net so it blends in very well and will provide your chickens with the same level of protection from foxes as the rest of the fence.

Exactly the same as connecting another electric net, simply clip the connections together at one end of the existing chicken electric nets and that's it. The power from the mains or battery energiser will flow through the netting as it does through the existing fencing and provide the same protection for your birds from foxes, dogs, mink, etc.

If the energiser used is battery operated, most people have their energiser, battery and flashing fence indicator next to gateway for convenience.

PLEASE NOTE: We now have EXTRA STRONG CORNER POSTS for poultry netting which considerably help to reduce sagging along the line. We recommend using them also for a gate. To do this we say have 1 in each corner of the net to help it's tension and then have another one one yard from the end post. The huge double spikes on the post mean that when you take the end post out the tension on the rest of the netting is not affected as it acts as a hinge post. We've been using these for this purpose since Sept 09 and it has proved very successful.
