These insulators can be screwed or nailed to a posts and hold either electric tape or rope.

Like most insulators for electric fence tape the conductor is slotted into position and held there by clipping the top arm into place. The tape is held securely but not so tight as to damage either the tape or it's conductors and will not move when fastened.

The two slots for rope to go into hold either and 8mm rope or a 6mm diameter electric fence rope but we've found these do NOT clamp the rope tight but rather act as a standard rope insulator.

Out of all of our 'screw / nail on insulators' these are probably the chunkiest so if your fence energiser has a higher voltage output then these are the ones we would recommend.

Our Opinion
A very solid insulator that holds the tape well although we'd prefer if there was a slightly smaller section for 5.5mm rope to to held tightly in.
