We stock a large range of 230v mains electric fencing energisers for use around the farm, paddock or smallholding. Whether you want a small paddock energiser suitable for dogs, horses or pets or a large farm energiser capable of large estate fencing we'll have one to suit and some even with a 3 Year Guarantee. This year we have brought back the HotShock energisers as we're finding that there is an increased demand for a powerful field fencer that can put a pulse down the line and sense any power leakage and increase it's output accordingly. These are particularly popular for use with netting where there is a tendancy for the net to sag or grass is starting to grow into it and an energiser is needed that can step up a gear when needed. |
These are energisers for your fence that can run on both mains power and from a 12v battery. The plug in the side allows them to work from both making them possibley the most versatile energsier on the market. Perfectly suited for the person who has animals in remote fields for part of the year and has them close to mains power at other times. Very competatively priced and with a wide range of powers available there is a size for all applications whether it is strip grazing horses or running a series of poultry nets. |
A range of battery energisers for all applications. There are fence energisers that operate from either a dry 9v battery or 12v wet battery which are perfect for strip grazing & mobile fences. 12v fencers that have an intergated earth spike and a powerful battery energiser that can be adapted to be powered from the mains. Our new energisers come with an integrated earth spike and can be operated by 4d cell batteries or a 12v supply making them perfect for remote and mobile fences.
A 3 Year Guarantee comes as standard.

Polywire or polytwine is the electrified twine used in electric fences to contain livestock. Our heavy duty Patura XL is our professional grade of polywire with both tinned copper & stainless steel for long distances. Our standard 3, 6 & 9 strand wires are all used for sheep & cattle fences and for the tops of fenceposts to stop horses cribbing. The stranded steel wire and our mild steel electric fence wire both have the best conductive rates out of all our conducting lines. |
Here we've a great range in electric tape to suit all applications & budgets. Tape is more visible for horses than rope and we've a large range for all applications and budgets. Most have stainless steel conductors of varying thicknesses and some of the tapes for long distance electric fences have tinned copper woven woven through them too. Colours available are white, green & brown and all have a high level of UV resistance.

Our electric polyropes are perfectly suited to horse fences for both small paddock fences and long distance runs. Easily visible to horses and less wind resistant than tape, our electric rope has a very high breaking strain and is avalable in a range of colours to suit all budgets. |
Our range of electrified nets are made to a very high specification and each is made for a specific purpose. The orange electric rabbit netting is 65cm tall andideal for crop protection and comes with double spiked posts for better soil grip. Around 90% of the effectiveness of an electric fence is comes from having a good earth. In this section we have our accessories for keeping your fence as well earthed as possible. Our lead-out cable provides an insulated connection that can connect an energiser to a fence and an earth stake as can our earth cable & screw. The galvenised earth stake will not rust underground and so doing provide an efficient earth for years. |
A large range of electric fencing insulators for attaching twine, wire, tape and rope securely without earth leakages. From nail on insulators to screw in fence ring insulators, this section has it all. Our popular combination insulators can take polytape & electric rope while our clamping insulators will hold tape & rope tight in the event of a breakage, The corner insulators can either let the tape run through or hold it fast and the screw-in aids for ring insulators will save your wrists when puting in a lot of insulators. |
Building the electric fence is straight forward enough but gaining access to the field while still keeping it electrified needs the right components. In this section we have a huge range of handles, handles for tape, gate handle insulators, spring gates, bunge gates, retractable gates infact just about every electric fencing gate there is on the market.

A wide selection of connectors for electric fencing. An efficient fence must have as near a perfect connection between each line and each length of conductor as possible in order to work well. Tying knots in fence conductors will reduce the power dramatically and by using a connector properly the electric pulse will go from one line to another without dropping the voltage. |
Here is a range of spare 9v dry batteries for fence energisers. Suitable for dry battery fencers which run from disposable 9v dry batteries. The larger the Ah, the larger the power with in the battey and the longer it will last powering your fence. Please ensure that you fence is well insulated and an electric fence with poor insulation will use up more power that one well insulated. A well insulated fence will use far less power than one which allows the power to drain to earth easily. |
Warning signs, testers and other bits and bobs. Testing your electric fence with our range of testers starting off with a basic bleeper to a fault finder which will tell where the problem is and how severe it is. Our warning signs will display the fences's presence and the reel will contain any unrequired twine, rope & tape neatly without causing earthing problems. |
