This is a bit different from regular flashing fence lights. It stores up the energy from each pulse and then releases it in a mini 'flash of lightening'.

Officially if the fence's voltage drops below 3000v th light will not flash but if the fence has a larger earth leakage than normal or the energiser has a weaker pulse then it will flash but not with every pulse. It'll take more pulses for the light to store enough power and so flashes are less frequent than when used on high power fences.

All the circuitry are held within a strong waterproof 'egg' and the power lead is clamped onto a powered line. Another lead is connecteced to a small earth stake which is stuck in the ground to allow some power to go the unit.

The unit itself is hung on the fenceline if it less than 4mm wide or attached with a cable tie if a wider diameter rope.

We recommend this be used with steel wire fences or with energisers with over 1 Output Joule.

Not recommended for netting due to it's high power leakage.
