This is a 200m roll of braided green electric fencing polytwine. There are 3 conductors of 0.25mm thick tinned copper which will provide minimal resistance allowing the electric pulse to go further down the fenceline.

Despite its exceptional conductivity this polywire has a breaking strain of 40kgs making this one of our lighter fencing wires. It's braided construction is one aspect which is hard to convey in a written description and is better seen when holding a reel to appreciate it. The way the polytwines are threaded along with the tinned copper ensures that the conducting lines are in constantly coming in contact with each other so if any of the conductors do happen to break, they will be electrified within a very short distance.

We always recommend that conducting lines containing tinned copper are permanent as constant movement of tinned copper, especially if it's tightly wound up, is not good for it and in extreme circumstances can shorten it's lifespan.

The green colour makes this braid more popular in domestic applications where visual impact (or lack of it) is important and for protection of ponds and cat electric fences this polytwire is ideal.
