QUIET, LOW-VIBRATION WITH SLIM GRIP

These clippers look, feel and perform differently than others on the market and are proving popular with all types of horse owners.

They have a 90w permanent magnet motor so power will never be a problem. Although 90 watts might not sound like a medium duty clipper the high torque permanent magnet drive has masses of power in reserve and when it is faced with slightly tougher areas to get through, it just gets on with it. It'll give 2,200 double strokes per minute which is faster than most in it's catagory.

The design of the handpiece has been influenced by sheep shears where they fit into the shape of the hand and will work all day long without becoming uncomfortable. It has a diameter of just 48mm at the the narrowest point and the black section is made from easy-grip plastic so even if you have small hands you can use these without having to 'squeeze' the handpiece.

The oscillating cutter drive is a system that powers the clipper head with lower vibration levels which is better for nervous horses and those who get sore wrists when clipping. This drive system also contributes to making them the quiestest clippers we have ever come accross. The pitch of the motor is the slightly lower than others and the head drives the blades quieter without any 'chatter' from the blades.

They are 29cm long and weight a fraction over a kilo so farily lightweight. There is a small air intake with filter on the base of the handle which allows the air in just to keep everything cool. The air comes out of the head in such a way as not to blow the clippings everywhere.

They come in a plastic carry case with a set of A102 blades, a brush and a bottle of oil.

Our Opinion

Terrific clippers. Good gutsy motor with less noise than others. We held these in one hand and held other clippers of the same power in the other and the difference was marked. Ideal for nervous animals.
