This polytwine is for long distance electric fences.

It has 8 stainless steel conductors of 0.2mm and 3 tinned copper conductors of 0.3mm. The twine is made from a UV resistant polyethelene raher than a polypropolene mix making it less likely to frey over time.

The low resistance of the tinned copper lines help to keep the resistance to 0.08 Ohms/m making it the best spec of polywire we've seen in years. Officially this can power fences up to 13km long but think the manufacturers figure is consrvative and it will power longer lengths.

Mostly used for professional sheep and cattle systems we'd also recommend this for putting on the tops of fenceposts to stop horses cribbing.
