This is a terrific starter electric fence kit for anyone wanting to keep chickens outdoors and has a mains powerpoint nearbly. The kit is simply one of our green electric fencing nets and a Copel M2 fence energiser including all leads and a 1m earth stake. Perfect for keeping foxes, badgers, mink and dogs out of your chickens and poultry are always happier when they know that there's an electric fence protecting them!

The net comes with 15 posts and 12 horizontal wires with 11 of them being electrical conductors. The horizontal electric wires start off with 5cm spacings and after the first few, the gap increases until they are 20cm apart at the top. The total height is 110cm

Choose from our Copel range of fence energsiers. The M2 has enough 'oomph' to power 3-4 poultry nets easily and is ideally suited to the job but if you envisage expanding your fence at any time then you may prefer a larger model. Just screw it to a wall, attach the electric netting to the live (red) terminal using some of the lead-out cable, the earth stake is sunk into the ground and attached to the earth (black terminal using the rest of the lead-out cable , plug in and switch on and that's it!

Also included in the kit is a small electric fence tester,a small repair kit, a warning sign and 10m of 'lead-out cable'. If you need any more cable then please select a larger reel from the drop down box when ordering and remember it has to be cut in two pieces. One length will have to go to the earth stake from the fencer and one to the electric net itself.

Please Note: We now have in stock our EXTRA STRONG POULTRY NETTING CORNER POSTS which provide excellent support for the corners of the netting and can provide a gateway too. While the flexiposts used throughout the net are fine for keeping the net supported they are not as robust at keeping the netting taught at the corners so some customers have used these with excellent results. By adding these EXTRA THICK & DOUBLE SPIKED POSTS to the corners they considerably help keeping the poultry netting from sagging. Also by putting an addition extra strong post about 1m from the end, you can open and close your electric net without releasing any tension anywhere along the line.
