When it crosses the tape, it touches the rest of the conductors and so will re-charge them with power from the energiser should some of the strands become damaged.

The polyethelene monofilaments are some of the thickest you can buy for a horse fence and have a very high breaking strength for a 20mm tape and are UV protected for a long life in all weathers.

Although not the cheapest tape we offer, if you are putting up a long run of fencing or a permanent system round your fields then this tape will pay dividends over time.
