AMAZING VALUE KIT. The Avalon is a portable "cordless" clipper, with a high capacity belt mounted battery pack delivering up to 2.5 hours of cordless clipping with only a 3hr recharge.
The blade that comes with the clipper is the
WIDE high carbon steel blade which is cool running with superior tooth geometry and has a preset cutting length of 2.3mm and there is no tensioning needed. It simply snaps into place and a spring clip holds the comb and the cutter at the required tension.
The motor is 80 watts which means it can do a whole body clip without over heating and the the blades can easily be changed with the quick release system.
The handy battery pack clips onto the belt leaving your hands free to attend to your horse and the spring cable keeps the clippers safe with no trailing leads lying around.
Please note that this clipper has a
80 watt motor and while Wahl specify that this is suitable to do full and partial clips, this will depend on how thick your horses coat is. Please keep in mind that the
Artiko clipper uses an
45 watt motor and the
Hauptner clipper is powered by a
180 watt motor.
