The Merlin from Wolseley is a cordless rechargeable horse clipper suitable for light to medium duty clipping.
It's light to handle (1.145kgs) and has an
oscillating cutter drive system which keeps the noise down to a minimum. The head will produce around 2,200 stokes per minute so it's one of the fastest rechargeable clippers on the market.
The 2000mA battery will cut for about an hour (depending on type of coat, temperature,blade sharpness, etc) before needing recharged. It takes about an hour to recharge so we recommend a spare battery pack to have on charge while you're busy clipping.
We've found these to be a big success with horses that appreciate the quieter clip and are perfect for the 1 - 3 horse owner.
