Electric Fence Conductors & Insulators
Whether you want polyrope for shorter paddock fences or wish long distance horse rope to enclose a large acreage, then we can advise on the best specification and how best to install it. Likewise our polytape comes in a variety of qualities. Most electric fence tapes have stainless steel conductors with the top quality have tinned copper running through and some having a mixture of both. To secure these to your fence, there is a large selection of insulators to choose from. You can choose from ring, combination, corner and 'screw on' insulators to distance, clamping and bolt & buckle insulators which each having their own place in insulating the farm fence conducting line.

Electric Nets For Chickens, Sheep & Rabbits
The electric chicken netting is of a very high quality with the green electric poultry netting being a best seller. This is the perfect electric fence solution to keep your chickens in their pen and predators like foxes out. As they are quite 'power hungry', we have created a few fencing kits to with all you'll need to get started. As with all of our kits, we can adapt them to suit your requirements. The sheep nets and electric rabbit netting also benefit from the same German quality of manufacture.

Fencing Kits For Horses, Poultry, etc
For those who are a little unsure, and are just needing some basic components to fence in a horse or keep foxes from getting to your chickens, we've made up a few electric fence kits that contain the most commonly used components.
While these kits are very good, they may not be the best electric fencing solution for everyone so we are on hand to advise you on what's best for you (not what's best for us). Just phone and we'll gladly advice on the best system for you.

Last year the Moser Avalon from Wahl was our top seller and now we have the Liveryman Harmony, the Heiniger Cordless and the Wolseley Merlin added to give the cordless & rechargeable clippers selection a much needed boost. All have qualities that provide the operator with adequate power that suits all budgets and needs.

Our medium duty horse clippers have had a major overhaul with some very well known makes & models taking pride of place. Heiniger, Liveryman and Wolseley all provide horse clippers with balanced motors giving lower vibration levels and a quieter operation so we've added those with the reputation & reliability to do the job.

Until now we just had the Hauptner 3000 as our heavy weight clipper but we've brought in the Heiniger Delta 3 which is in a different league altogether. No other horse clipper of this power has 3 speed settings which can slow down for sensitive areas and decrease it's noise level accordingly for nervous horses. Once you've used (or even held) this clipper, you can see why Heiniger has the reputation for producing some of the worlds best engineered clippers.

Extra Tall Green Electric Fence Posts For Horses

These are very tall plastic posts for electric fencing and are ideal for larger horses that need the fenceline right up at their noses. Made from HEAVYWEIGHT, UV protected plastic, these polyposts have 4'6" above the ground when in position and have a good 8" spike to secure them in the field.
The footplate on these posts also has an additional plate on the side to prevent the post from twisting in the field. Occasionally single spike electric fencing posts will loosen with the wind buffeting the fence and start to swivell on the spot. This strains the tape or rope and damages the conductors they contain and this additional pressure will shorten the lifespan of fence.
When these plastic posts are pushed into the soil the main spike holds the fencepost in position and the little plate on the side goes in only by an inch or so. This is enough to stop the posts from turning on the spot. Very simple but very effective.
They have 10 loops for holding electric fencing lines. 3 sections for 20mm polytape, 4 for 40mm tape and 3 for twine or rope.
They come in boxes of 20 only and due to their length will be delivered by DHL. Also available in white.

| | Chunky Gate Handle

This gate handle has got the diameter and sterngth of spring as our regular electric fence gate handle but just has a bigger and stronger insulated grip.
The wide rings give a bit of extra protection and are particularly appreciated on wet days when it's all to easy to have a handle slip through tired hands. This is probably why these are our most popular handle for livery yards.
Although marginally more expernsive than our regular handles, the difference is well worth it

This is a very large freestanding reel to wind up electric tape & polytwine with a large capacity drum that can be removed.
The strap goes over your head and the steel bracket rests against your chest when winding in or reeling out which saves your arms getting tired. The reel can be left freestanding safely in the field as there is a break so your conductor will not unroll itself when your back's turned.

| | Heavy Duty Corner Insulators For Tape

These are very tough corner insulators that screw onto a post and allow fence boundry to change direction without causing damage to the tape.
These insulators come in two sections and can have the polytape threaded between them when attached to the fencepost or have the tape placed between them then screwed to the post. The back of the insulator has been moulded to fit snug onto a round straining post but they are equally secure when attahed to a square post.
They will take any horse tape sizes from 10mm to 60mm diameter.

| | Retractable Tape Electric Fence Gate - Great For Horses

This retractable gate extends up to 6 metres and is made up of 40mm white electric fence polytape. It allows the gateway to remain electrified while you come and go and is easy to install.
Just screw the bracket to a gatepost, attach the reel to the bracket and the connection lead to the existing electric fence and roll out the gate to the other gatepost where the end gate handle insulator is attached. It's that simple!

These are our strongest post yet. The steel is 8mm thick with a pigtail insulator at the top for a single strand of polywire making them ideal for strip grazing. Being green they blend into the surrounding countryside and they have a an additional prong welded on the bottom for pushing them into the ground and providing extra support when in the field.
When in the ground they are 89cm high and their total length including the spikes is 105cm making them perfect for cattle fencing but additional insulators can be added to give extra lines. The insulators clip on to the post to give a solid block of insulation that is hard to move giving you plenty flexability. Perfect for mobile sheep / dog fences.
