The Econom CL from Aesculap is a professional animal clipper designed for cattle but also suited to heavy duty horse clipping. This is the cordless version of the powerful Econom clipper and it's got the same fast stroke rate of 2750 s/minute meaning this clipper glides through thick and coarse animal hair with ease. It's operated by an intelligent battery that supplies as much power as needed then switches to standby mode after 1hr of inactivity to conserve battery life. The lithium ion battery will power the clipper for approx. 70mins continuous clipping and can be fully re-charged in 70mins.
The Econom clipper is well-designed for heavy-duty and continuous clipping with high air throughput to keep the clippers cool, a slim housing with comfortable grip and balanced weight distribution. It's also very service-friendly with easy to change filters with no need for tools
The clipper is supplied with one set of blades, these leave a coat length of 3.5mm.
A wide range of compatible blades are available - all our Heiniger and Premium blades will fit this clipper.
