This is our entry level dual powered unit (works from 12v & 240v mains) and fast proving popular for use as a strip gazing unit. A very simple, compact and straightforward energiser which will power up to 4km of fencing.
It made in Germany, has 0.5 Output Joules, pushes out a max of 8,400v & 1,460 with 500 Ohms resistance. and has a low power consumption of 57mA.
There's an optional stand earth spike which can be bolted on the back and used to hold it up off the ground while providing a good earth. Ideally it should be attached to a seperate earth 1m spike but as this tends to be used to separate fields, using the stand as an earth is fine.
There is a light on the front of the unit that flashes on every pulse. Ideal strip grazing fencer or for anyone with a couple of small paddocks. Also becoming popular for scare lines around pheasant pens.
This is not suitable for netting.
