Mobile Gate Posts for Tape Fences

This is a kit for use with mobile fencing systems to create a free standing gateway that's easy to move when you need to move the fence. This is the ideal solution for fencing applications where you need to move the fence frequently or where putting in wooden posts is just not practical.

The kit includes 2 of our steel posts, made of thick, galvanised angle iron, they have a 1ft main spike, two thick 6" brackets coming out from the base at 90 degrees with a couple of nasty looking 3" spikes on the ends to give a good anchor point.

The standard size post is 3ft tall (when in the ground) with pre-drilled holes for up to 3 gate or insulator fixings. We also now stock a 4ft version with predrilled holes for up to 4 fixings, although normally 2 or 3 would still be used but positioned higher. This kit includes tape gate insulator fixings suitable for poly tape up to 40mm wide (these are the same as our Tape Gate Insulator Kit for Steel Posts). 1 tape gate insulator kit is included as standard, there is an option to add extra sets (for a 2-strand or 3-strand fence), via the drop-down box above.

Our Opinion
Very sturdy gate post set, ideal to use in conjunction with our reel kits for livestock grazing. Equally useful for temporary and mobile horse paddocks, where you need a gate and there's no wooden posts available to attach the right fixings.
