Ideal for use with polywire, these switches can be attached to a fencepost anywhere along the line. If you want to switch your fence off without having to back to the fencer or plug point, these switches can be put in the fenceline and allow you to isolate the power.
Used mostly with mains
mains fencers at some point along the line of
lead out cable or on the fence itself. It's fine being installed on a fence made from rope, twine or wire but adjustments would need to be made to accomodate tape.
As polytape would just not be able to go round the connectors on the fence switch and maintain a good connection, we recommend that you have the tape end just before the switch and start again just after it and have the power going throught the switch by using a
tape - tape connection cable cut in two. One of the ends with the clamps will take the power from the tape into the fencing switch with the stripped cut end going round a connection and similarly out the other side and onto the outgoing stretch of tape.
