Choose from THREE powerful energisers (all with 3 yr warranties) and create your own electric fence kit. All kits come with 20 x 3' posts, a 200m roll of 20mm wide fence tape, and earthstake / mounting post and a bag of accessories.

Balfour 1500
The Balfour Duo 1500 has 1.0 Output Joules and will power up to 6km of fence line at around 4,100v (with 500 Ohms resistance), or up to 100m of electric poultry netting

Balfour 2200
This model has an Output Joule rating of 1.5J which will power a 8km stretch of electric fencing. Under normal line resistance levels of 500 Ohms it will still put a 4,700v pulse through the fence so it's suitable for medium length horse fences.

Balfour 2200
The largest model in the range, the Balfour 3000 has 2.0 Output Joules and will power up to 15km of fence line at around 6,100v, or up to 200m of electric poultry netting. There is also and on/off switch on the side of the energiser.


These German made energisers are all "Dual Powered" meaning they can be powered by either a 12v leisure battery (not supplied) or 240v mains. All come with the Mains Adapter plug and a set of crocodile leads which take power from a 12v battery. There are connection leads supplied to use when powering from a battery that go from the unit's earth terminal to the earth stake (100cm) and from the unit's power terminal to the fence (120cm). They all come with a small earth spike which can also be used to mount the energiser on in the field.

We also include what we call our 'bag of bits' which contains things that you may or may not use as everyones fence is similar but different. This includes a heavy duty gate handle, a couple of gate handle insulators, some ring insulators to secure into the odd wooden post or tree, a warning sign and an 8 level tester.

The posts we send are 3ft tall but there is an option to upgrade to taller posts.
