The Black Beauty is a medium duty horse clipper with a variable speed motor from Liveryman that can be both mains powered AND battery operated. This package comes as a battery operated set making it ideal for operating where there is no electricity to hand.

The clipper's brushless motor will provide up to 10,000 hours of work with a variable speed setting of between 1500 rpm and 2700rpm. The speed adjustment control is on the rear of the handset.

The handset is quite comfortable to hold for long periods and well balanced. A streamlined aluminium clipper head and a multi vent design not only allows for excellent cutting performance but helps disperse heat keeping the head slightly cooler than some clippers.

A rechargeable Li-ION battery pack included here is one of the more modern ones we have seen. It's Lithium Ion, so can be recharged at any level without affecting the memory, but it also has LED lights to show the battery capacity level. This allows you to guage just how much clipping time you have left. Normally they can hold enough charge to clip for 4.5 hours but that will be dependant on how tough the horses hair is to cut through so you more likely to get 4.5hrs clipping a thoroughbred and maybe a bit less for woolly cobbs. The battery has a belt clip on the back so it can just sit at your waist and at without getting in the way and at 550g, it's not to heavy.

The Black Beauty Horse clipper comes in a sturdy carry case complete with an instruction manual, mains adaptor, Li-ION battery pack, clipper oil and cleaning brush. Also included are set of A2 Liveryman cutter & comb blades as standard.
